This fuel has 85% ethanol, while 15% is gasoline, because of which it is seen as a viable alternative to dependence on gasoline. Chevrolet has as many 12 models that run on E85- flexible engines. Its manufacturer, General Motors, plans to increase to half of all its annual vehicle production by 2012, engines that are E85 or bio-diesel compatible.
