MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, June 26, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fans of aviation and the Lake District have the opportunity to combine their passions in just a few short weeks at Windermere Air Show.

The skies over the body of water, which is the largest natural lake in England, will be filled with some of the globe's most exciting aircraft, including the XH558 Avro Vulcan Bomber, a subsonic jet bomber that was operated by the Royal Air Force between 1953 and 1984.
Having played a key role in the Cold War, the plane also saw active service in the Falklands war.
Other aerial shows set to take to the sky at the celebration include demonstrations by the Red Arrows Aerobatic Display Team, the Guinot Wing Walkers and the Yakovlevs Aerobatic Team.
