YPI Group Appointed as Brokers for Motor Sailing Yacht ALTHEA
Yachting Partners International (the YPI Group) are pleased to announce that they will be handling the sale of the luxury motor sailing yacht ALTHEA.

ST TROPEZ, FRANCE, June 05, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The ALTHEA is a yacht with only one previous owner. Available for sale exclusively through YPI Brokerage her asking price has been set at EUR 3,900,000.

Launched in 1993, ALTHEAis a 37.5m (123'00") twin-masted schooner built by Link Ltd of Piraeus, Greece. Her design, by the multi-award winning Andrew Winch, features a large deck and a superbly shallow draft, which makes her an ideal choice for exploring shallow coves as well as allowing for easy port access.

Being a motor-sailer, ALTHEA offers the best of both worlds as her YPI broker, Mike Rich explains. "You get to enjoy all the benefits of a sailing yacht, but with the added ability of being able to use some motor power as and when you might need it. Your enjoyment is not restricted by how much wind there is."

ALTHEA'S versatility makes her a great choice for both family cruising and luxury yacht charter and she has been well looked after by her previous owners. "She is in amazing condition," says her YPI broker, Mike Rich. "She has been properly maintained by her full time crew and is ready to sail this summer."

ALTHEA requires a crew of six and is able to accommodate eleven overnight guests in her five guest cabins, which comprise three double cabins as well as a twin and a single cabin. Her interiors, which have been styled with a light contemporary feel, also feature two salons, which together with the generous teak decks, provide more than enough space for those on board.

ALTHEA is powered by twin 355 HP / 261 kW MAN diesel engines, which give her a top speed of 12 knots. She has a range of 1700 miles at her cruising speed of eleven nautical miles per hour.
